ms mouse (stuck)

i have a (ms intelli ps 2),it gets stuck when surfing web pages on links or anything that you can click on,i was wondering if its the mouse ,explorer etc.? any help please .thanks

Anyway when you say stuck you mean a feeze and then suden jolt to somewhere else on the screen or does it just stick fro a while and then unfreeze itself?

is your computer super-slow? what browser do you have installed?

it freezes ,and then unsticks itself,but you have to either lift the mouse or keep moving it around the mouse pad ,i have explorer 5.50 and windows me,

why didn't you say so, it is ME's fault

I had that problem with my Intellimouse Optical and it was my mouse pad. it had a little bit of a glossy finish and it would mess the mouse up (freezing, spinning around, jumping). Switched to a pad with more texture and have been fine since. but i don't see why it would ONLY do it over links.
