MS Money 2005 question.

Money came on this Laptop I got, I've never used Quicken or Money before. I decided I'd try Money since it was already installed. I don't have a bank account, but I figured I could use it to track my budget still. I punched in all the info for how much I make, how much my bills are etc etc.

It came back telling me how much I should have left over at the end of each month, I wanted to use that to figure in my fun money. I've noticed when I click on the bill calendar, which has all my reaccuring income/expenses the amounts never change. What I mean is, if I click on Jan 5th 2006 it's not showing the right amount for what I should have saved. My monthly Remainder is $340, shouldn't the program incorperate that into my budget, so I can click on a day a year from now, and get an estimate on how much I should have saved, instead of saying the exact same $$$ amount it shows for today.

What am I doing wrong? and sorry if this message is confusing, I don't know how to explain why I can't get this stupid program to function.
