Has anyone ever taken an Optical Intellimouse apart? If so how hard is it? I don't want to take it apart and then not be able to get it back together and be stuck using a ball mouse.

I need to take it apart and soder some of the wires back on inside because they are coming loose and giving me fits when I'm playing quake III. Sometimes it will lock up and I can't move or I will lose all mouse movement all together and I have to reboot to get it to work again.

its real easy...the screws are under the 4 teflon pads on the corners or the under side.....
its easy to put back together too...so don't worry.. ..
can't you get a replacement from MS...after all i belive they were all sold with 5 years Warranty..
