My friend gave me his MS Flight Sim 2k CDs because he doesnt play the game anymore and I am still really into flight sims. However, he doesnt know where the manuals are and it looks like it might be a complicated game to figure out. Anyone know where I might be able to get manuals, either in paper form on online?
thanks,
-doug

The manual that comes with the game is rather bland. It covers basic flight, traffic patterns, basic gauges, basic navigation and plane information. If you just need basic keyboard commands, email me at biggestmuff@yahoo.com and I'll scan the back of the manual for you! I have seen other books at CompUSA for FS2000 that go into great detail on flying and commanding the planes. Have fun with it as it's a great tool for learning!

another place to check out for flightsim books is Barnes & Noble, or..pretty much any Half-Priced book stores. Plus there are tons of flightsim sites that have links to FS book sellers.

and muff... isnt it strange how your phase "Have fun with it as it's a great tool for learning!" normally would not have been noticed too much :) But now...its creepy and scarey.

yeah, that is a bit different now, but it's still a great way to acquire knowledge!
