Some wierd shiznit is happening with explorer... there a few sites I have in favorites that when I select them, it takes me to a different site instead. But if I go and select that favorite once more, it takes me to the apropriate site it is supposed to.

For example:

1) Selecting the GameSpot favorite (www.gamespot.com) takes me to www.goldenpalace.com (online casino games)
2) Selecting the www.weather.com favorite takes me to www.windandweather.com
3) Selecting www.orbitz.com takes me to www.hotwire.com

I'm thinking this is some malicious cookie-tracking activity, but I've ran Spybot a thousand times and it doesn't fix the problem.

Anyone have any idea why this is happeneing and how I can fix it?

Sounds to me like your browser has been hijacked. D/L and run CWShredder, that should at least help some. Then I recommend you use an online trojan scanner. I assume your AV is current, so D/L. update and run AdAware. It finds a lot of things SpyBot doesn't, and viceversa. They pretty much complement one another. Post back with results.

Thanks helpmeout, I D/L'ed Ad-Aware, CWShredder, and HijackThis and ran all of them.

Only Hijack This seems to have fixed the problem. The other 2 didn't work. But hey, at least it worked... so thanks again.
