MS exel Formula

I want to create a table in exel to keep track of the stuff I use.
Let's say the first column I want to put the total quantiy I have. Column two # of quantity used and column three # quantity left.

Here's what I did. I put a formula in column three to have the number in column two subtrack from column one and it will give me the # of quantity left in column three. My question is. Is there a way that I can have the number in column two disappear after I hit enter but still have it subtrack it from colum one and give me the quantity left in column three.

Thanks

You can always just hide the column.

Curious as to why you would want to have the amount in column two disappear.
