MS Exchange

Anyone know a good Exchange (2003 in this case - for now) forum?

Taking over everything at my current job, and the exchange server in place generally is running like shit. Wondering if anyone knows of a place for quick, reliable info?

If it is running that bad, you might want a 2010 forum... Might be better to migrate to new hardware / software.

i would suggest that you create virtual memory (8GB), apply some tweaks, disable all services you dont required, block all un-required incoming ports, adjust the priority of ms exchange process.

check for incoming traffic, i guess you are receiving a lot of DDOS attempts, or login failures.

and i dont know why dont you guys go for a XEON?

also, i always install OS on SATA and keep raid/scsi for data files, forgot to mention, check smtp as well, many mail bombers try smtp ports for sending out bulk mails. and stop all ports which you dont use, i always block 80, 25 and 21 on mail servers
