MS Exchange question

I briefly had a drive in Windows explorer that was named Exchange and had all the mail boxes, contacts, email messages, etc.

It has disappeared and I don't know how to make it reappear.

Any help, much appreciated.

PS: Yes, I know nothing about Exchange. 🙁

Thanks but it was never a physical drive. It was created by Exchange.

Anybody out there who knows Exchange? 🙂

There are too many questions that need answering. That's why those who know Exchange aren't touching this one.

OKey Dokey

We had Exchange running on a domain controller and hosting our own email. The guy that configured the server turned it into a bowl of spagetti that no one could figure out. We had tons of email issues and decided to turn it over to a 3rd party hosting service. This has been done and all is well except that we need to retrieve the old emails that are on the old server. If I could make this drive show up again, i could copy them over to a physical HD and all would be well.

Any other questions, just ask. And TIA for any help you can offer.

btw: The old server is off the network. Once we get the emails and contacts off it, it will be reincarnated as a file server and nothing more.

M drive?

What version of Exchange? The M drive is hidden by default in Exchange 2003 so clueless admins can't screw it up as easily.

Nope, It was H drive. I couldn't copy the entire drive or folders but I could copy sub folders and individual files (*.eml)
