ms exchange like solution for Linux

Red Squirrel

No Lifer
I currently use imap at home for my email and it works great. But I was thinking it would be even cooler if I could have stuff like public folders, calendar/reminders, server side address book, etc. Is there such freeware/open source solution out there?

Zimbra is what you need, the majority of it is open source, even the Network Edition (clustering per their wiki is handled by the Red Hat Cluster Suite which I've been able to configure for the OSS version)

I install Zimbra for many people and personally use it myself for the Bainbridge College Computer Club. It's perfect, I love it.
