MS Exchange 2000 help --- forwarding email

i've been trying to figure this out and no luck. When trying to forward email using Exchange server 2000, i do not know how to forward mail outside of the active directory. So when i click a user and go to the "exchange generals" tab.

there is an option to forward email, BUT as far as I can see --- it will only let me forward mail to only someone within the active directory or domain.

what I need is to be able to forward mail to an outside address such as hotmail or whatever. Does anybody know how? I just can't see to find this specific info anywhere.
