Hy guys/Gals,
I have a somewhat bewildering problem - I run MS Excell 97. When I go to use the mouse to "hilite" an area I am have problems "anchoring" on the first cell selected.
i.e. I left click my mouse cursor on cell A1 (to anchor that cell) then I go to hilite the rest of the cell range that I need.
But for some weird reason, I am unable about 50 percent of the time to hold that A1 anchor point. ANother word, my hiliting drifts.
Dumbfounded - Please help.
My system:
Abit kt7raid
Duron 800 at 1000
Crucial 256 meg ram
Matrox G400 video card
Windows 98 (original) operating system
To my knowledge, I am running current patches for excell (SR-1)
I do notice similar problems with Word 97 also
Does not seem to be a problem on my slower celeron 466 machine.
Could it be that the office 97 products are not coded to work with one gig processor powered PC ??
Oh Yeah- other than this issue, all other programs work fine and my system seems stable as a rock.
