MS Excel macro question

Any Excel masters out here? I'm trying to make an excel project so that each sheet is for a different user, and each user has some kind of password to be able to get into their sheet. Also, I need the spreadshhet to check for the right user before I let them into EDIT of a column that they see. Is this even possible?
