I starting using Microsoft's Batch98 to speed up reloading Windows 98 SE on our computer systems.
When I used the standard method for loading Win98SE our small network (2 PCs, switch, DSL modem) worked fine. After using Batch98 when clicking on PCs listed under Network Neighborhood sometimes generates "does not exist on network" error message.
Sometimes if I click through Entire Network down to the target PC I can establish connectivity. Sometimes not. Sometimes networking works, sometimes everything I try will not get it to work.
The device manager does not show any errors.
TIA
