MS Announces "Days of Arcade"

Link - Starting March 18th, MS will release a "blockbuster" arcade title similar to what they did last year with the Summer of Arcade. Hasbro Family Game Night kicks thing off followed by (in no particular order) The Dishwasher: Dead Samurai, Flock, Lode Runner, Outrun Online Arcade, Puzzle Quest: Galactrix, and UNO Rush.

One week, there will be two titles released.

Curious to know how a local game of Battleship would work. Maybe the ship placement is random and NOBODY knows where they are.

I'm looking forward to checking out Lode Runner. One of the classic games I grew up playing on a Macintosh.

Hopefully at least one or two of those other games will be appealing as well.

Or, it will just be like Uno and there will be no local play option...

Possibly. It would be really dumb to have a 'family game night' game not be playable unless the whole family had separate 360s, TVs, and accounts so I hope that's not the case =/

It's a shame that, out of the 18 screenshots of this game, none of them are of the games actually being played.

I remember buying UNO so I could play it with my son.. I figured lack of two player was clearly a limitation of the demo. I was furiously looking through the menus.. How could they have possibly omitted something as basic as local MP ?

It took a couple minuets to realize the flaw in my logic..😱

Wheres peggle? Thought that was out this month.

Hopefully next week. There's still another Live Arcade Wednesday to go before they start the "Days of Arcade" promotion.

Outrun and Galactrix are mine for sure. I'm interested in Lode Runner and Dishwasher though videos of that game left me unimpressed even if I did like the previous demo that was released many moons ago. We'll see. Also have to know the price point because there have been a few 1200+ games lately. I'm hoping all of these are 800ms points but y'know what..watch them all be 1200 and up.

Yeah, I might have to get Outrun myself, maybe dust off the ol' MS Wireless Wheel...methinks "precise steering" might not be as necessary in Outrun as in Forza.
