MS Adding new cooling systems to repaired 360's?

I just saw this thread on the XBOX forums. They are apparently adding a new cooling system to repair the consoles. Hopefully this is true and I can avoid the endless exchange cycle with my currently under repair 360:

I'm holding off till this fall to get another 360. Word on the street is that they should have 65nm GPUs by then which would hopefully mean no more RRoD.

Well, if your 360 is no longer under warranty, you can always do one of the heatsink mods detailed at xbox-scene.com forums.

Mine is still under warranty. But even if I had an unlimited lifetime warranty, I wouldn't want to have to send the damn thing back every 2 months and have it unavailable for a month each time. Next time mine breaks I'm going to do the x-clamp fix. If that doesn't work I'll drop it out of my 3rd story window and sell all my games.

Mines been going strong for over a year now, it just likes to freeze every couple hours. I'll just sell it to Gamestop and use the credit towards an Elite
