ms-7091 v2 bios resets

Hi

When my pc gets disconnected from the power the bios settings reset, I have to correct time & date and boot sequence to detect hdd. I've replaced the cmos battery and also checked the jumper which I think is in the correct position but it's still happening.

Problem I have is I'm using a TV as a monitor now and I can't access bios because I get a 'out of range' message.

Is there any way around this?

New battery sorted the problem, strange as the other battery was new.
