ms-6340m mobo with onboard audio/video won't run w/Soundblaster value

This is a new MSI mobo for an inexpensive system I'm building for my bro.

Everything works fine until I put in that new value soundblaster. I'm ready to return this POS and get a K7T pro2a

Any similar probs?
