Hi,
I bought a pentium II machine in 1998, and now have found out it can be upgraded. The bios update allows for Slot 1 Pentium III upto 800 mhz. However i want to get a new cpu but am worried that the cpu will fry as the pentium III 800 have a 1.65v core, whereas my current pentium II has a 2.0v core, if i swap the chips and put a newer Pentium III in will it blow up??
Many thanks in advance!
Gareth
