Is it just me, or does MrThermistor seem to be trying to be as much of a jerk as possible? It seems that whenever I read one of his posts, I am wondering what the point of that was.

Example 1

Example 2

Example 3

Example 4

He is such a new member and already all that he does it trash everything. Just concerned.

Edited for proper Links

I agree, his posts are very inappropriate. I don't think the quality of his posts should warrant any further membership of this forum, frankly I'm surprised the mods haven't done something about it yet....

The guy is just looking for reactions. He should be removed from the forum. I vote for permanent ban. He has nothing to offer here.

I would warn him first, to see if he can turn his lemons into lemonade.

I don't usually come to the defense of idiots or those accused of being one but although a couple of his remarks are immature and thoughtless, I can see no worse in them than a great deal of the posts in OT. Certainly nothing that would warrant a ban, which is probably the reason it hasn't happened.
Don't take this as a defense of his remarks because it isn't. However, you'd have to cast a very wide net if you wanted to give vacations to or ban anyone that made immature or thoughtless posts.

It's not so much that his posts are thoughtless. It seems to me he has put a great deal of thought into making his posts as inflaming as possible. And he hasn't restricted his nonsense posts to just one forum. Three cited are in OT, but one is in highly technical. Again, it seems the guy is looking for attention and it's not welcome. (IMHO...)

So now we're banning people because you simply don't like them and don't agree with them? Has he clearly broken the forum rules?

What I get from reading his posts is that he is deliberatley trying to get strong reactions, in other words, "incite a riot." Which is something we don't need here. Intelligent discussion isn't something MrThermistor is offering or bringing to these forums.
