Granted, I wasnt in from the beginning when it was in black and white, but I remember watching Mr. Wizard's Don Herbert DAILY (whether it be repeats or new episodes). I just loved all the quirky little experiments he did. Now, the kids are just inundated with things like Spongebob and the Wiggles instead of fun yet educational TV shows. I guess the mass market isnt in it anymore. Kids like violence and weird creatures that come out of red and white balls.

We need more shows like this. Science is FUN!

i agree. i watched beakman when that was on, but you can't beat the wizard. I guess science programs don't sell enough cereal and toys.

I liked Bill Nye as well, but honestly I just liked how you were just hanging out at Mr. Wizard's house doing experiments a bit more. He seemed much like a grandfather who knew a lot of stuff.

I used to love Mr. Wizard, Bill Nye is alright but I realized he was just a dumbass after seeing him on CNN talking about Global Warming and how what happened in that movie "The Day after Tomorrow" could really happen.
