I'm going to be working Monday morning in Dallas. I thought I might as well fly up there early Sunday so I can have a full day to hang out. I stretched my flights so I leave late Monday so I might even be able to grab some dinner or see more sights after I get the work done in the AM.

Is there anything that is a must-do for a first timer there?

Dealey Plaza is a must see. Its right around the corner from my office so I tend to forget about it when friends come to visit.

reunion tower is pretty cool (the big ball thingey in the Dallas skyline)...

you have to pay for the observation level, or you can go the restaurant level and order a few drinks....just don't eat dinner there because it is overpriced and the food isn't that good...

Good list! I'll keep these in mind. I'm traveling alone, so doing some things that should be group related would be a little weird but thanks for the info!
