Mr. Personality

No Lifer
In continuation of Fox's outrageous "reality" dating shows, they've come up with Mr. Personality.

Short background:
Girl... So... Hot will be seeing 20 guys except all the guys will be wearing masks thoughout the show.

Yea or nay?

Personally, it can't be any worse than the all the gold-diggers on the Bachelor.

I'll be so glad when these so-called 'reality' shows are past history.....

Stupidest.....fad......ever.

Agreed, but the sad thing is that people WATCH them. I could understand watching them occasionally just to get a quick chuckle, but some people actually get caught up in them!

True dat.....I glanced at 'The Bachelorette' cause she was friggin HOT.....but I couldn't actually stomach the show.

Come on people, these shows explore important aspects of modern social interaction. Joe Millionaire examined the conundrum of a person's perceived wealth blocking ones own feelings toward someone. Mr. Personality will show us the true motivation one has when choosing a mate, and could possibly solve the dispute between looks and personality. If you dig deep down, you might learn something about the nature of human beings...and maybe, just maybe, a little about...yourself.

Definitely. A few of my friends and I were walking back from dinner one night and this girl walking behind us was talking on her cell phone, to her boyfriend it sounded like. She said something to the effect of "Okay, I'll call you later. But it will have to be after The Bachelorette." We had to try quite hard not to bust a gut laughing.

I'm not much of a reality show person but this one seems even worse than the others.... First of all, a mask? How romantic can you get with a mask??? Secondly, it just shows how very materialistic and vain we really are. Third, the whole 'dating/engagement/marriage' in a reality show is absolutely retarded because when you aren't meeting some in the REAL world how can you know if you click... I mean, you aren't seeing their house, them in their normal environment, them when they've had a long day of work, meeting their friends....ect.....the list goes on... I say a big

NNNNNNNNNNNNAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYyy on this one 🙂

except that the show is so produced and doctored that, by the time you see it, if it resembles the reality of the situation at all its only by coincidence.

I know exactly what you mean.
They could instead be interacting with all the exciting, intelligent and wonderful people here on AT...all four of them!

BTW: And no...I'm not in that list of four. 😛
