No election is perfect but this one gave you more chances then you were legally entitled to. It is time to concede and congratulate George W Bush on a well fought victory. The nation does not need any more court battles and fighting over stupid technicalities like dimpled ballots. Be a gentleman and a statesman and concede for yourself and the nation.

An honorable man would see it is past time to concede.

The V.P. is less than honorable.

Don't expect this to be over anytime soon. (Hope I'm wrong.)

He's too busy throwing a tantrum, Jacob. Try calling back after Tipper tucks him in for his nap.

Yea he should concede especially with the discovery that 5000 Bush absentee ballots that were illegal without numbers had numbers put on them by a Rep hack. Notice too how the popular vote has grown from 200,000 to way over 300,000 votes in Gore's favor. Most of the voters want him to win. Most voters in Florida went to the polls to vote for him. He should exhaust every last possible legal challenge because he was the actual winner. Why quit now, it's just getting interesting. I can't wait for Bush to be appointed speaker of the house and voted pres by the congress. These are gonna be the good old days. The whole thing is exposing the politicos for what they are. We could end up with a more thoughtful public. Maybe.

Yep, just like his boss.

She's singing him to sleep with the union label song.

BUWAHAHAHAHA!

I am going to enjoy watching Gore show the country how much of a man he is not.

Not ballots, ballot applications. Its not very likely a judge will discard 4,000 ballots, as the ballots themselves were not tampered with. They don't even know if all 4000 were cast. Do you want to desinfranchise 4,000 people who legally casted their ballots?

Moonbeam, 300,000 votes is less than .5% of the 100,000,000 votes cast, well within the counting machines' margin of error. It's entirely possible that Gore did not win the popular vote.

Moonbeam......give it a rest man! You said it yourself, one way or another Bush IS the next President! As far as the vote growing......that may well gow back down this week! Missouri is disqualifying all the votes that occurred after 7:30PM in both St. Louis & Kansas City according to St. Louis & Jefferson City news. They are giving estimates of up to 225,000 votes in all precincts that violated State law! It's still within the "margin of error" at any rate! Bush has definately got the upperhand from here on out and Lord knows what will happen Monday night after Mr. Gore gives his speech.....he does have a way of coming across to prople poorly. One wrong word there and public opinion will for sure be in Bush's pocket if it isn't now!

forgive my solomon-esque logic. but how about instead of further tearing apart the country and wasting everyone's time, the first to concede UNDER the reason that it is for the greater good of the nation will get the presidency. too bad that would never work.
