This was on the front page of NewEgg This seemed like a decent deal.

"Mr. Flash USA high speed 128MB Compact Flash Memory Card Type I Dual 3.3v / 5 v This CF (CompactFlash) card is designed for use with digital cameras, cellular phones, laptops, MP3 players, handheld devices like PDAs and more Life Time Warranty Retail Box ISO 9001 Certified 100%"

Also, I found this:
"This Card will not work with HP cameras, . Lifetime warranty provide by Newegg.com (Please check your device manual for compatibility requirment)"

The refurb version of the same card is $60 with free shipping.

Sorry if this is a repost, I searched but didn't find anything. Let me know how hot this is/isn't.

This is a pretty HOT deal...I got one of those for my Kodak DC4800 and I could take ~140 pictures at 3.1 megapixels (normal compression). Newegg.com is an outstanding reseller and I would recommend anybody to do business with them.

I think the Viking is much better quality than the Mr. Flash.
You can still get it for $75 after rebate from Amazon with free shipping.
Here's link:

Viking 128 mb Compact Flash

Lastly, Amazon has a 30 day return policy and Newegg.com only has a measly (7) day policy.

**Also Newegg has that damn 15 % restocking fee which blows.**

for the Viking compact flash at amazon dont forget the $15 off $100 code from techb@rg@ins.. just need to add $.01 to your order... that will get it down to ~$60 after rebate and coupon

Darnit, the price is up $7 since Saturday at NewEgg. Price was $63 with free shipping this weekend. I was gonna buy this weekend (just won an auction at UBid for a digital camera), but decided to wait until today in case flash prices went down even more. That is what I get for waiting.

EDIT: Hmm... Why is shipping $4 on 64MB and only $2 on 128MB?? You don't think that NewEgg is making a little on shipping, do you?

BDP,
I've seen TONS of deals for CF after rebates. I posted this because this deal doesn't involve rebates.

Viking is 2.6x speed RAM; while the Mr. Flash could be slower.

Viking also has a free tech support number and lifetime warranty.

In my opinion, Lexar is one of the best CF cards you can buy.
Brand name cards such as Viking, Kodak and Kingston are also very good.

Here's an interesting article dealing with different brands of CF cards, it's worth reading.
