Mr. Clean Auto Dry Car Wash $15.80 - $5 coupon = $10.80 at Walmart

just what the title says.

I stopped by a local Super Walmart today and they had the product sitting in the display area on the left as you walkin. Note that I stopped by another Walmart (no Super) and they did not have them on the display so I don't know what the price was there. Of course, the $5 is the coupon you get from manufacturer. I had mine sitting around waiting for the right moment and looks like it came.

Hopefully some of you will find this "HOT" or at least "Warm" 🙂

I agree, it does work well for making it unecessary to dry your car. However, it can be expensive. In the box you get just enough soap for about a car and a half and the filter that takes out all the spot causing minerals, is only good for three washes (says it right on the label). So, plan on spending more money soon for both items.
As I said though, it does work pretty well for what it's claim to fame is; not having to dry the car. I used mine for the first time just yesterday and other than the places I missed when washing, the car is (pardon the pun) SPOTLESS! 😉

It gets expensive fast. It works well if the filter is new or only has a few uses. All in all, it saves maybe a tiny little bit of time. You do have to slowly go over the entire car with the filtered water, which is time you normally use to dry the car.

I've stopped using mine and started using Eagle One: Wax as U Dry. It's a spray on wax product you can use on wet cars - it gives the car a hell of a shine and you use it while you dry.

I have tried wax as u dry and it didn't impress me. i could see no difference when i used it and when i did not. i was going to pick up the mr clean kit on saturday but never got around to it so hopefully the sale is still going on.

i don't plan on using their carwash stuff. i plan on washing as usual with meguires stuff but i will "dry" using their system.

At least in terms of the Wax as U dry - you still do have to do your normal 2-3 waxes a year using the good stuff. It's kind of a maintenance wax inbetween. Maybe it's b/c mine and my fathers cars are both < 1 year old which is why I tend to notice it.

In terms of the Mr. Clean - they "claim" you have to use their soap along with their filter - I don't think soap makes an ounce of difference but the filter of course, does.

2-3 times a year? HA! dare i see that car

wax once a month 😉. only takes about half an hour to an hour, but well worth it (provides you don't do the 3 step process)

That really is just overkill to wax it 12 times a year. Of course, different parties always have different perspectives. I probably should have said 2-4 times a year. (once every 3 months or so)

this product is great....

i have a 2004 black honda accord and it helps prevent swirl marks
from the drying.

this is definately a buy for those with black cars.

well, true

i myself like to strip the car down (cleaner wax) then polisj then wax about once every one or two months

it kinda relaxes me tho, lol

I blow dried my car.

Washing and drying is often the source of those fine spider web swirl marks. For the 1st time today I took my leaf blower to the car and it worked pretty well. Better than using a microfiber, probably not better than the Mr. Clean.
