I don't know about everyone else but having a grown man act like a 8 year old is not funny. A few people suggested that he's an alien but that doesn't really change anything. His stupid facial expressions and and child like behavior makes me want to punch him in the throat.

I agree with you, but Lost is a bad example, in fact I think Lost is the antithesis of the point you are trying to make. "John from Cincinnati" is the perfect example of writing for the sake of being weird.

i have never seen his movie but i have seen his skits and some are pretty funny. For instance one time he was trying to figure out how to deliver a chair he bought and eventually he strapped it to the roof and used two broom handles for the gas and brake and steered with his foot. Another was him getting changed into a speedo without taking off his clothes it was pretty funny. I am sure the movie is nothing like the skits.

Why does Borat Suck? It may not be what you like, but it killed in the box office and the character became a world wide Phenomenon. Just becasue it wasn't your "cup-o-tea" doesn't mean it sucks.

I mean the Three Stooges was dumb humor too and look at how they are immortalized on TV?
