Mr. and Mrs. Smith

I have a few things to say. From it's advertising, I wouldn't have guess it was such a decent movie. Cause the advertising looks like a retard cliche.

My girlfriend made me watch it. And I have to say it was pretty good. It's very charming and hilarious. There is lots of sarcastic humor coming from Brad and the rest of the characters. Both him and Jolie are excellent on screen. They have chemistry.

How everything is presented is just really funny. They present a couple with problems and have nice marriage jokes in it. And all through the movie, they take cracks at one another. Just thinking about it is making me laugh.

Although, no matter how expert a killer you are, some stunts are just... Impossible. There is this scene near the end, where you are like, LOL, yeah right, like they are ever gonna get out of that. And they do, and you know then that it's all BS.

The ending to the movie is also a little bland. It's feels like the ultimate challenge is still ahead and then the movie ends, which isn't cool.

But I still recommend you go watch it for the really funny humor.

It wasn't all that great. The movie was marketted as an entire movie dedicated to the destruction that a husband and wife cause against each other. Their fight against each other was short before turning into something completely different, and much less spectacular.

If I knew this, I surely would have waited to rent it instead of paying through the nose to see it in the theater.

Snoooooze...

if movies were 5 bucks to go in i would watch a lot more movies than i do now.

i used to go every other week when it was like 7-8 bucks when i was younger in HS/college. now its 11-12 bucks in nyc, i have a job but i dont want to waste that much money on crappy movies.

look at Batman IMAX... $15 at lincoln center!!! WTF :|

remember in the beginning when mr. smith said the sex with mrs. smith was only 8 (or was it 6)? that's when i knew it was BS.
excellent flick. doug liman is money.

i enjoyed the movie, it was done in a -Nik is a tool- witty way. the ending was kind of disappointing -Nik is still a tool- though and takes away from the whole movie. i would still recommended to anybody though.

the parts of the movie that were funny were very funny, but overall I thought the movie moved kinda slow...

and seeing how high-tech each of them was and yet not to know what the other did over a 5 (or 6) year period was pretty lame...

but she was lookin' pretty hot:thumbsup:

little off topic, what would her 'accent' be considered???

Completely unnecessary and uncalled for. You're right that there's a tool in this thread, but it's not me. 🙂

Are you kidding me? This was an absolutely messy movie. The excuse they used as a plot had no direction whatsoever. I could make some fine swiss cheese with the plot holes. The actors did hold it together for a while, but in the end, I just wanted it to be over, one way or another.

Yup. You have to be pretty square to think much of anything in this movie was "witty" or good sarcasm.

I thought it was pretty good. It was so outlandish at times. It really made me laugh.

Although it was filled with non-stop action, I would consider it more of a comedy.

Brad and Angelina really work well together.

Thumbs up:thumbsup:
