mpeg4 camcorder/mp3/toycam things

Who has tried one of these 6-in-1 9-in-1 1281201-in-1 noname MP3/MPEG4 camcorder/voicerec/mediaplayer/blahblah things?

are they worth it compared to a miniDV camcorder?


basically I want something that's
1. cheap
2. small
3. the fast video download rate of a mem card versus a miniDV tape is nice but not manditory

I just want a camcorder for some kind of unobtrusive documentary purpose so let me in on your DEEPEST THOUGHTS about these sort of devices
 
u still get what you pay for. i forget the exact spec but dv tapes are atlest 15gb? so forget about going cheap
