im getting tired of MS media player its always freezing when im playing Divx movies any other good players out there i wanna uninstall windows media player TONIGHT

Have you tried reinstalling WMP? It never crashes for me.

WMP8 is great, I highly recommend it. And it looks nicer too a la WinXP.

I use nicemc plugin for winamp. It allows you to use winamp to play any sort of video. Really nice with winamp's playlist too.

my favorite is irfranview. It's a VERY simple program, that does just the basics. Because it's sooo simple, it has almost no overhead (I think the whole program is like 100k or so), but it will play/view ANYTHING. It's great for viewing images. Don't get me wrong though, it does have some good features however (like a slideshow, resize/resample, change color depth, change file format, ect...). I forget where I got it from, but if you e-mail me (Newton_Scott@roberts.edu), I'll send ya the install program. It is freeware. (check www.download.com though, it may be there).
