I dont really know much about mpcs except that I have a bunch of them. They play in foobar and I know there are winamp plugins available to play them. Im wondering if anyone knows how to get iTunes to support them as I've pretty much been using iTunes exclusively lately. Thanks.

hmmm, it doesnt seem like dbpoweramp will. Any other suggestions?

Also, do i have to convert them to another format? Is there no way to get some of these players to play them?

its some type of compression that is supposedly very high quality. Thats about all I know other than its hard to find something to play the songs with.

mpc -q7 and higher are extremely nice. it's been said on hydrogenaudio.org that mpc -q7 and above can transcode to mp3 192 transparently with no artifacts. but that's beyond the question.

foobar will transcode them. update to the newest special version and get lame.exe and it will transcode it.
