Hi, I'm having a problem with my system crashing, I get a blue screen from WinXP Home, saying it has detected a problem and is shutting down, there is more but it closes to fast. After that I try to reboot but at this time it sees my p3 700 as a p3 433, it kicks me into the Bios and it refinds my cpu as a 700 where I save and exit. It goes back into a reboot, where it finds my Vid. cards bios, show that, then it goes to a black screen, but if I wait for an hour with the pc off it will bootup.

It seems as if something is happening when it get hot. this is occuring now every 3 to 4 hours. I have not added any new hardware or drivers for about 5 months.

I just want to rule out that it is not my new as of last nov PS (Antec 430 True Power). because I'm replacing the Motherboard, CPU, and Ram.

Old Items being replaced:
Asus P3BF
p3 700 100FSB slot 1
512 mb PC133
56k ISA Moden, US Robotics, Hardware Type

New Items:
Asus A7N8X Deluxe (the one with the nforse2 chipset)
XP 2500+ Barton 333fsb, retail
2-256MB sticks, Corshair XMS 2700 2CL DDR stuff, with heat sink stuff
56k PCI Modem, US Robotic, Hardware Type

Items to remain:
Antec 430 true power
WD 40gb hd ata100 7200
WD 20gb hd ata100 7200
DVD rom drive
Writer drive
Geforse3 TI200 AGP
Windows XP Home

PS- I do have 5 lighted led fans, and 2-12v light units. But everthing has been running fine for about 6 months without a problem. One more thing, nothing is OC.

Thanks again
Jim
