it doesn't matter how outrageous the prices are. that gives people no right to 'participate'. nor does it give you a right to preview

Cry me a goddamn river. These idiots keep raising prices for paying folk because they think they're losing money by all the internet downloads when, in fact, those that downloaded it wouldn't have bought it anyway if they couldn't download it.

i'm not crying you a river, i'm not the one whining. if they raise prices to the detriment of their own business, then that's their choice to make. it doesn't matter if the reason they claim is piracy, the weather, smurfs, whatever.

I will actively rebel against the MPAA and RIAA simply because of their dumbassishness.

i'll be rooting for you

Err, did they ignore the RECORD BREAKING FIRST DAY TAKINGS OF $50,000,000?
Or does making a new record in takings not mean anything?
Yes, clearly the movie industry is going down the sh!tter, quite clearly.
$50,000,000 shows this. Yes, $50,000,000 is a crap amount to get on opening day, since it's "only" a record amount.

Bunch of retards.
Especially as some dude had to steal the movie, and Bittorrent isn't a sentient being, so couldn't have stolen it itself, and had to be helped by a human.

Yep, that alone proves that the MPAA are d@mn fools.

It would have been 500 million if you use the RIAA magical numbers

Funny thing is, it didnt start at BitTorrent Level.

BT was just a common distrobution method, which is currently peaked (too much press/covereage/news/etc) like the Morpheas/Kazaa era. It will soon die, and then another breed will be born.

Thats the same thing as saying that MP3 used to surface/come about FROM Kza/Mrp--but to anyone who knows whats going on, or is educated--that theory is false. BT is just the stage after XDCC, thats all--its the noob version of irc.

i watched the movie and i downloaded it. i want to see it but its not worth another 10 bucks.

5 bucks and i'll go again. MPAA get your crap together. STFU and stop blaming everything else and find out what's wrong with the industry!!!

and also find out who the leak within Lucasarts is and kill him if you want this stopped. that is all.

Right there with you. I've got hundreds of CDs I bought before the prices got to ridiculous levels.
