Is there a program or way to increase the volume of an mp3 song? It's just an individual song. If I play another song, the volume of it is fine.

Is there another way to do this? From what I've read, Replay Gain simply adds info to an mp3 file and have the mp3 player read that info and adjust the volume. I would like to actually change the volume of the mp3, as opposed to installing a plugin for my mp3 player and whatnot.

yeah normalization would fix your problem... just make sure it's peak normalization, not average, otherwise you end up with some compression if i recall... feel free to correct me if i'm wrong.

fine fine .. there's hardly a safe way to raise / lower / normalize volume without introducing clipping. Fine fine .. don't listen.

go to hydrogenaudio and pester them.

Damn, you really get into a pissy mood when not everything goes your way.

But thanks for the help everyone...I'm gonna try out MP3 gain.
