Mp3s - read only

In XP is it possible to make a folder with some read only files display just the ones that are read only? I have some mp3s that are read only in my list and I want to uncheck all the read only boxes but I don't want to go through each ones properties.

Ok so you have a directory with a few read-only files and you are trying to make them writeable but without having to do each file individually?

Well in NT you can just highlight all these files, "Read-Only" will appear as a gray checkmark which you can then unselect, setting everything to writeable.

I will test this at home with XP later, but I'd assume it would be the same.

This has worked in every Windows version since 95, and also works in XP. It's very helpful
