mp3's in XP? burning problem?

hey all...i wanted to burn some mp3's to make some mixed cd's and some mp3's just wont play! most do but a few will loo klike theyre playing on the time info and all but theres no sound. i dont know if you guys had any problems yet...but im using nero 5.5 with latest update and XP final.

I am running XP and no probs at all burning mp3s and wavs. I am using Nero 5.5 as well with Plextor 16/10/40, what type of soundcard and speakers are you using. Also, what audio software? Maybe I can help.

it wont play the m via the cmedia on board sound on kk266r or in my cd player...

also i have the antec asc33 speakers

I haven't had any problems either, but I prefer to do it with ezcd in win2k because it doesn't take nearly as long to convert the mp3's to cda files. Come to think of it, I don't really use XP for anything....
 
yeah, winamp can play the mp3's no problem, i just cant burn them! ive tried twice so far and both times ends up with a silent cd with the track info all good. not sure if theres something wierd going on with these mp3's, seems to be only the mp3's from the new tori amos album...hmmm
