MP3 to WMA Burner?

My friends asked me to burn him a few CDs in WMA format. Apparently his car radio can't read MP3s. I was looking around for some converters but I really don't want to have to actually convert all this music to WMA. Is there a burning software that would burn MP3s on a CD in WMA format?

Thanks for any help.

I've had cars that read MP3, and those that don't. But, WMA? That is a new one. I've never had a car player that reads WMA (a Microsoft Windows Media file.)

Are you sure you don't mean .CDA files? That is the standard car audio CD format.

In any case, the conversion process is the same, but you will not have the quality of the original CDA file on a commercial CD, because MP3 is lossy. And, back conversion doesn't regain the loss.

If that's what you want to do, just use Window's Media Encoder. You probably already have it installed, but probably just never used it. Just look for "wmenc.exe" .
