Wife just got a 20 Gb Ipod.

Need to convert my Mp3s to Itune format?

What software?

iTunes/iPod can play MP3s so why would you even bother?

As said, you don't need to convert your MP3's to any other format to play them on your iPod/iTunes, but if you want to convert something to a different format, dbpoweramp is a great program to use.

You do not need to convert mp3s to itune format. iTunes plays fine wherever you have your music stored and MP3 works with ipod/itunes

If you absolutely wanted to convert from mp3 to AAC, you can do it within iTunes. Select the mp3s, right click, convert selection to AAC.

Thought that Ipod HAD to have it"s own proprietary format.
