MP3 to cd quality after the burn.....

i use easy cd creator and it automatically converts the mp3 on the fly but the sound quality on the cd isnt as good as the mp3....anyone else notice this?

yeah... let's just say Adaptec's MP3 decompressor IS SUCK!

Just take the time to decompress the MP3s first and burn directly from the WAV.

Time to use Nero.

yeah, I use audiograbber to convert cda to wav and burn them with Nero and they sound fine.

goodoptics, why not just convert in nero? Saves a step.

I dont't have any probs as long as the MP3 was originally compressed at 224 or better.

It could be that the original MP3's are bad. But use Nero because I believe they use the Fraunhofer decoder which is pretty good.
