Mp3 through "digital" out program

Unfortunately my Sound card, a fortissimo III 7.1, forces me to restart if I want to switch between PCM out via optical or 'audio source' via optical which allows for DD and DTS for DVD's.


Basically, is there any free sofware 'encoder' that will let me listen to my Mp3's in the 'audio'source' mode by encoding it in DD? Isn't this sort of what the nforce 2 boards do btw?
