mp3 tag genres

I am looking for the best way to tag my mp3s with good "genre" tags.
I like musicbrainz Picard with its last.fm plug-in which pulls some really good genre tags BUT it also pulls some tags that are just BS, e.g. "UserX's Favorit Playlist".

Is there a program with which I could simply select ALL my mp3s ... it then shows a list of all genres and I can "disable" the ones that I don't need?

(PS: currently use musicbrainz picard and mp3tag to tag/sort all my mp3s)

That doesn't really do what I am looking for.
Ideally I would be able to select 5000 mp3s ... and then it would display a list with checkboxes of all the genres. And then I would be able to simply deselect the ones that I do not want.

Dr. Tag will allow you to completely wipe all tag info, and then put what you want. It also has a pretty extensive genre list if you want to use them. Whats great is it has macros. You can tell it to put the file name in the song name tag so that when you put it in your ipod you don't have jacked up song names, or if you have ripped albums it will put the directory name in the Album tag, etc. Lots of good stuff.

None of these seem to do what I asked for, i.e. select 10000 files => it shows a list of all the genre tags (e.g. Rock, Classic Rock, ..., Oldies, Mike's Favorites) ... and then I simply deselct the genres which I don't want (e.g. Mike's Favorites).

Musicbranz Picard is great with the last.fm plug-in ... but it does import some stupid genre tags (e.g. Mike's Favorites).
