mp3 software app with bookmarking ability

When listening to audiobooks on my mac I often forget where I last left off. I have tried a few mp3 players but none of them have bookmarking ability and my google searches are coming up dry. Any solutions out there that seem to work for anyone?
 
iTunes?

Right click on file, choose Get Info.. then Options and check the box labeled "Remember playback position" and then change the category from "Music" to "Audiobook".
