What are the better MP3 players in the under $200 range?

I am also interested in desktop stereos, since my intent is to listen to music at work. Any suggestions along these lines are welcome too... 🙂
 
Well, the best would be the iPod mini 4gb, retail is $250, they go for about $230-240+ ship on e-bay

I've got a brand new one, in the box I'll sell you for $200+ship, it's silver...

Ease of use. I just want to load it up with music and listen to it at work. That would be 90% of its use.
 
I like the little round Sony player I have. Alot of people don't like Sony right now because of their root kit stuff. But whatever, Atrac3>*
 
watch out for Sony players and their proprietary ATRAC format; some newer models are MP3 capable though so read the specs. carefully

and Cowon iAudio X5 = FLAC + video + OGG + best EQ 😀

its a bit out of his price range i think....how about the U3?
 
If you don't mind only 1 GB of capacity. You can get a Zen Nano plus for ~120. I have one, and its works very well for my uses.
