I need some reccomendations for a new mp3 player. My ipod bit the dust, so I need a new one. I do NOT want an ipod. I don't want anything that plays videos. I don't even need a color screen. I've seen the SanDisk Sansa, but it looks too fancy/bloated. I don't need all that crap. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here are some guidelines in order of importance:

1.) Good sound quality
2.) Battery life
3.) cost <$200
4.) small
5.) good EQ
5.) drag and drop

UPDATE: Now looking at the TrekStor Vibez 8gb. Anyone have any comments on it?
Thanks again!

any thoughts on sound quality?

What about this?

The Sansdisk straight from the factory doesn't, but with a firmware update when you plug it in gets you a user eq.

That isn't flash based. They use small hard drives in the Zen Micros.

Well, I just assumed flash because I thought it was cheaper.

But I have heard good things about this. $170, iirc.

It looks nice, but I've never heard of it. It is unclear if it supports Drag and Drop with Windows Explorer.

Too bad you missed out on the 30gb refurbed iPods for $180.

He was looking for a flash based MP3 player.

I'm not sure about the Drag and Drop, but from what I hear TrekStor is a successor to the Rio Karma, which was supposed to have the best sound quality of mp3 players.
