Hey guys. I've had 2 MP3 players now. The first one my girlfreind bought me for christmas, the cord was faulty so I called the company and they sent me a new one, still no go.

I didn't want to hurt her feelings and tell her it didn't work, so I bought myself one that looked kindof like it. I worked great, I used it alot. But then I was on a trip with my freind and he brought his laptop, so I plugged my new MP3 player into the usb slot and started to play some Aerosmith-Sweet Emotion. When I was done I disconnected it after clicking on the icon WinXP gives you to safely disconect devices. Next time I tried hooking the MP3 player up to the laptop it said I/O device error on the screen, just like the old one had. Then I tried to listen to the songs from the player itself and the player told me there were no files.

Any Ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Graeme

best bet is check the documentation that came with that device. You may have to reformat it or wipe its mem and start over.

also look for a web page for them and see if they have support.
