MP3 player, recommendations?

I am in the market for a MP3 player, can anyone shed some light as to which one to get? I am seriously thinking about getting the IPOD, 10gb for about $230. How easy is it to use with a PC? I heard about potential battery life issues? I like the IPOD because of the size. Anything else like it for about the same price? Thanks for your input.

ipods rule. i hated apple and anythign to do w/ it, but they've actually converted me. i use itunes too.

works seamlessly with my PC, really fast, efficient, easy. totally reccommend.
maybe just buy the 15 gig for 50 bucks more, 50% more storage!

there are probably 10000000000000000 threads on this, but I'll say it again: iPod + iTunes = musical bliss. Get the $300 15GB model and prepare to be happy.

sorry about the laziness... and thanks for the help. 10GB will do. 2000 songs is enough. Thanks for the help...

Creative Muvo2 4GB is selling at creative.com for $199 IIRC.

just another option to consider. it's supposed to be very tiny.

it's ok, you can just drag and drop MP3's......no need to install Creative software 😀

I have a Juke Box 3 and I like it, but I want to upgrade to the Ihp-120 eventually. The jukebox has served me well and still works after taking a lot of abuse. The battery is dying though, it doesn't hold as much charge as it used to.

I personally own a iPod...

but i havta reccomend the Rio Karma if your a audiophile, but if not, then definatly go far the iPod without a doubt.
