Purchased a Creative Zen Photo 20GB on hot deals forum and I am a total MP3 player noob!!

I am backing up all of my cd's to mp3 using Windows Media Player and I am wondering how this Mp3 player will read Nested folders?

for example:

Would I be better off making each album a seperate folder

ie. \Green Day - American Idiot

or am I okay by putting all the albums inside a Green Day Album folder
ie. \Green Day\Green Day - American Idiot

and \Green Day\Green Day - Burnout

Each player has its own software so there is no one answer.

Google or go to Creative or look on the software CD for the manual for the Zen, then read it and be happy!

While I don't have exactly the same Zen that you have, with my 30 GB Zen Xtra, I used this scheme, as an example: Eagles\Greatest Hits 2, Eagles\Hell Freezes Over, etc. But, that didn't work so well, because the Creative software would always ask me "you already have Hotel California, do you want to replace the one on that's already loaded with this one?". I of course wanted both versions, so I went back and renamed everything with the album, as part of the filename. Well, guess what? That didn't work, either.

It seems that, at least with the software that came with my slightly older Zen, that it didn't go by the file name, or what folder the file was in, it actually went by the ID3 tags. So, I downloaded an ID3 tag changing software (so I didn't have to rip all of my MP3's yet again), and put the album name into every song's ID3 tag. The next time I tried to load all of my MP3's, it didn't stop once, to ask that question, even though I probably have 40-50 "copies" of songs, with the same name, but from different albums.
