mp3 player question?

Hi everyone, is it possible to hook up a flashed based mp3 player to your car system? I already have XM radio in my truck and use the tape that came with the car kit (for those that dont' know..it looks like the tape with a cord on it) that came with the old sony walkmans. I guess my question is could i use this tape so that my mp3 player would work in my car?

Yep. My question is, why didn't you spend the thirty seconds it would've taken to actually try it? Have you not bought the player yet?
 
Nope and thats the reason why im asking 🙂....one of the considerations im using to buy it 🙂.
 
Some MP3 players have a dedicated line-out port, but if not you can just use the 1/8" headphone jack and adjust the volume. You'll be fine.
