mp3 player problem

I installed the drivers from the cd for my creative zen micro like i did many times before but i cant make playlists and they are functional in my player and can only transfer my mp3 susing the windows explorer I also can't add songs to new playlists and cant see them in my explorer. when i got to use zen micro media explorer its say to connect it. i went to device manager and it is there. whats wrong?
