mp3 player hook up in car

i got the creative zen xtra and i have no idea where i buy an adapter to get it to work in the car.

i have a cd player put in. so im going to need that radio thing.

do any b&m sell it? or onilne only.

Get a line out adapter, since you have an aftermarket deck. Soundgate among others makes them. You could use FM modulation but that has awful sound quality.

You're doing MP3 anyway. And in a stock HU with stock speakers it's not going to sound good enough in the first place to sound any worse.

For $30 for an FM modulator there isn't anything better within financial reason that will do much of a better job.

He specifically stated he put in an aftermarket deck, but I have no idea about the speakers. I find it hard to believe that more than 10% of the population could truly tell the difference between MP3 and supposed "CD quality" anyhow. Most FM modulators sound like crap anyway.

what kind of head unit do you have? if it has a line in or RCA ins they all you need is a line out or a line out-RCA adapter
