I want an MP3 player with a minimum 5GB drive, but preferably 20GB, good sound, and a built in FM tuner. My wife gives me a $100 gift card for Best Buy for my Birthday, so this gives me a license to kill 🙂 I fell in love with the IRiver H120 as it was the only player with the features I wanted, and sure enough- THEY DON'T CARRY IT ANYMORE :|

Can anyone think of a comparable player in the $200-$300 range? (I see IRiver is coming out with the H340, but who knows when that will be available).

 
iRiver H1xx is really the best thing to get, they are absolutely wonderful.
Definately try and get one somehow, selling a GC for maybe $80~$90 (if you can) would give you some $$$ twards one from elsewhere.
 
Welcome to BestBuy. Two times I have gone there to purchase semi high priced items. I look around, find what I want BAM none on the shelf, ask a blue shirt when another will be in stock "probably when we get our truck" so I ask "when is that" with a responce "I don't know" I no longer by electronics or computer stuff from them.
 
Most BB get truck every other day, some even get it more often. Truck is a constant battle for any retail store, don't expect anyone on the floor to have a clue about stocking issues. You need to talk to a manager or someone in the back, you can't expect the people who're supposed to pimp stuff like digital cameras to know a single thing about how the store is run, especially when they barely understand the hardware they are trying to sell.
 
Why not buy a Dell DJ. They should have another sale here soon where its $179+ tax, free shipping.
 
I'm just going to wait for the H320. Has a color screen with Jpeg and BMP support for the same price 😀.
 
my local bb had the iriver h120 on clearance price for $269 a couple days ago when i went. but im going to stall out for the h340.

$214?! i just checked their web site, and my map shows 3 different stores in the area with availability. hopefully that inventory check is up-to-date. may have to make a little stop on the way home today.

BestBuy Online inventory is not real-time, unfortunately. Most times, it's hardly even in the realm of accuracy.

Only way to be certain is with a phone call.
